Columbia Metropolitan Airport now taking applications for a Public Safety Officer (PSO)$0 $0 (CAE) – Columbia Metropolitan Airport’s Department of Public Safety is now taking applications for a Public Safety Officer (PSO). PSO performs various police and fire duties in addition to ensuring safety within and around the Airport. South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy Class One certification and Fire Fighter II certification preferred; however, applicants must possess a minimum of one certification. Good mechanical ability required for operation and maintenance of equipment. $0 $0 Excellent Benefit package includes medical/dental insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, personal days and retirement plan. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid S.C. Driver’s License.
