Columbia Metropolitan Airport Provides Wireless Internet Access

The Columbia Metropolitan Airport provides the traveling public one more alternative while waiting for their flights. Passengers with laptop computers and Personal Digital Assistants can now access the internet while waiting on their flights from almost anywhere in the terminal. This service is provided free of charge. Laptop computers and Personal Digital Assistants must have a wireless network adaptor (802.11 B or A/G) to be able to access this service.

The Columbia Metropolitan Airport strongly recommends the use of virus and firewall/ intrusion protection on any computer device. For any questions concerning this service you may contact airport staff at wirelessinfo@columbiaairport.com. Your computer manufacturer will also be able to assist you with any questions you may have accessing this service while in the terminal. The airport is pleased to be able to offer this service at no cost to our traveling public as an amenity to their air travel experience.

The Airport, its Commission, and employees shall not be liable for any loss or damages of any kind or nature, including but not limited to, any loss of any data, any damage to any hardware or software, or any unauthorized intrusion, arising out of the use of the wireless internet service. « Back to News List
