Tarmac Delay Contingency Plan

In February 2012, President Obama signed into law the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012. (H.R. 658). Section 415 of this act requires airport operators to submit for the Secretary’s approval emergency contingency plans. Required in this plan is information pertaining to diverted aircraft, passenger services, tarmac delays, and U.S. Customs Border Protection (CBP).
