Allow Extra Time With the increase in travelers during the holidays, it is advisable to arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to your flight. Boarding Pass and Identification You must have your boarding pass and a photo ID to gain access to the departure gate when accessing the security checkpoint.  Your boarding pass can either be issued at the ticket counter or via an airline check-in kiosk. Film Place all undeveloped film and cameras with film in your carry-on bag.  The screening equipment for checked baggage may damage undeveloped film.
